Custom Printing FAQ
Custom Printing FAQ
Answers to common questions about ordering custom printing from Color Star Prints.
What does “Customize for pricing” mean?
Some customizable products use a $0 base value so the customization system can calculate your order from the options you choose. The $0 amount is not the final order price. Complete the available product choices and review the resulting price before adding the item to your cart.
What is the difference between DTF Transfers by Size and the Gang Sheet Builder?
DTF Transfers by Size is a quick option when you want to upload artwork and order a transfer based on its print size. The Gang Sheet Builder is useful when you want to arrange multiple designs or copies together on a larger print area.
What file type should I upload for DTF printing?
For best results, use a high-resolution PNG. If your design needs a transparent background, make sure the PNG has true transparency rather than a checkerboard background.
Can I order custom shirts and apparel?
Yes. Color Star Prints offers custom apparel, including custom T-shirts, along with additional apparel options available throughout the store.
Do you offer stickers, labels and decals?
Yes. Visit Stickers, Labels & Decals to start a custom order.
Do you offer signage?
Yes. Browse the Custom Signage collection for available signage options.
Do you have options for small businesses?
Yes. The Small Business Branding Bundles collection groups custom products designed to help businesses build a consistent branded look.
How do I place a custom order?
- Choose the product or printing option you need.
- Complete the available customization choices and upload artwork when requested.
- Review your selections and final price.
- Add the customized item to your cart and complete checkout.
Tip: If you are ordering DTF transfers, start with DTF Transfers by Size for a straightforward single-design order or use the Gang Sheet Builder when you want to build a larger sheet.
